Friday 25th November – bike *** – Two rivers including lunch at Landguard – Sunny.

It looked breezy enough for another windsurf so headed over to Levington Marina but the winds were light but got some nice pics in the wall to wall sunshine:) Mag was surprised to see me home early as she returned from a trip up the town, it was too nice a day to waste so I packed lunch and we headed out on our bikes, it seems to have become a thing we do on Fridays:) We went to Landguard taking the prom which was busy with people enjoying the sunshine and light offshore breezes. We had our picnic on the old pier where the River Orwell was whizzing out but there was a bit of a breeze blowing into our faces so did not stay as long as usual. Back on the prom we spotted Michael out having fun on his E – surfboard in the flat sea so stopped to take a few pics. Mag then turns up Bent hill while I continue onto Felixstowe ferry stopping to take some pics of the new beach huts just past The Dip. Then home the short route over the golf course to chop some kindling before a welcome cuppa.
